Exposure Dynamic Range of the Imaging Plate (IP)

The amount of light emitted from the IP when exposed to X-ray is more than 4-digit times that of the conventional Screen File System and shows a linear trend. Using this characteristic, the FCR System is able to provide a stable digital image even under varying X-ray exposure conditions.

IP has a wide dynamic range of 4 digits compared to 2 digits for analog
